my new respect for Beyonce

So, yesterday I went to the hip-hop dance class at my gym.  It was super fun!  It was taught by this cute little girl named Shannon who could actually do the moves.

(Of course, I was totally distracted by wondering if she’s a student at WMU & if she knows about CBC on campus.  I had to leave early to pick up Little Ran Man from daycare but I will find out! mu hu ha ha ha:)

Anyway, for one song she taught us Beyonce’s dance moves in the Crazy in Love music video.  There was something about seeing myself (and 99% of everyone else) look really really stupid that made me realize Beyonce makes it look easy.

When I got home I told Dave that I could never (& I mean never ever ever) go to this class if I didn’t belong to an all woman’s gym –crazy Beyonce moves– I’m sure you can imagine.

The good new is, I worked out, my heart was RACING, I worked up a sweat and managed to have a good time –who knew?
