9/11 From an Angry, Racist Perspective

9/11 From an Angry, Racist Perspective September 10, 2011

Last year, I wrote about how I experienced 9/11 as an angry, black racist. And how 9/11 served as a catalyst towards my coming to grips with my own racial identity but also the my anger towards America.  I was going to add to it but realized it’s good the way it is, hence the repost.

My prayer for tomorrow’s anniversary is that we honor those who courageously gave their lives in every manner imaginable, remember the depths of evil and our need for a savior and appropriately grieve the many lives lost that day.

Loss of any life by means of deplorable evil is tragedy.
