Yesterday, Rhys & I set off for IV’s National Black Staff conference in Atlanta. I nursed Rhys on lift off to help decrease the effects of cabin pressure on popping little ears. In a few words: exhilarating, prayerful, stressful, awesome, amazing & worthwhile! Last weekend I directed my 1st ever completely-on-my-own regional black student conference: IGNITE! Due to my recent maternity leave, the whole thing from top to bottom was planned by me and a co-worker, Shaylen J. in a little under 7 weeks! One of my bestest buds is having her first baby. A bouncing, beautiful baby boy ~ hurrah! The little ankle biter is set to make his debut this summer & I couldn’t be more excited.
