Dolce & Gabbana Think Every Stylish Woman Should Carry a Rosary

Allure magazine recently asked Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana what ten items they think every woman should own. Some of the things were pretty obvious, like high heels, makeup, and the Mediterranean Diet. (I think that’s a thing you “follow” and not a thing that you “have,” but whatevs.) However, they did have one less expected item: a rosary.

“It reminds us of our beloved Sicily, and of the roots and traditions that have become such an important part of our DNA. [A rosary] is a true jewel that can be worn under a shirt or over a corset to play with the contrasts.”

The designers also added that you don’t need to be Catholic to sport a rosary, especially since they mention pairing it with a corset.
