We all know it doesn’t take much to start a lot of hurt. Still not sure who fired the first shot on the greens of Lexington.
It doesn’t take much to start a lot of good either. Think Rosa Parks. Or Mother Teresa.
It clearly doesn’t take a bulldozer to get big things started, although it sure can feel like it.
But you can’t nudge someone else toward greatness until you have the courage to first nudge yourself toward greatness. Every day.
At times that task can feel like a job for the bulldozer. But it’s not.
It takes one little spark. One little nudge. Then God will do what God does:
The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too…. A whole stream of events issue from the decision… which no man could have dreamed would come his way. ~ William H. Murray
Nudge someone toward greatness today by nudging yourself closer toward who God has made you to be. Today.
The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone is trying to make you be someone else. ~ E. E. Cummings
