Heh. From The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, when Mr. Tumnus tells Lucy Pevensie what will happen to him if he does not turn her over to the White Witch:
“And if I don’t,” said he, beginning to cry again, “she’s sure to find out. And she’ll have my tail cut off, and my horns sawn off, and my beard plucked out, and she’ll wave her wand over my beautiful cloven hoofs and turn them into horrid solid hoofs like a wretched horse’s. . . .”
So who’s providing the voice of the wolf (named Maugrim in the film, but Fenris Ulf in my 1970 Collier edition of the book) who leads the White Witch’s secret police and arrests Mr. Tumnus? Michael Madsen, the guy who did that psycho ear-slicing thing in Reservoir Dogs (1992; my comments). Seems fitting, no?
