G.K. Chesterton has a Bacon number of 4.

Kevin Bacon, that is. So says the Oracle of Bacon:

Such a small world. And if we think beyond onscreen appearances in movies, I myself am only two degrees separated from Kevin Bacon, if only because I have interviewed Atom Egoyan twice — a one-on-one interview in 1994, followed by a roundtable interview in 1997 — and Egoyan directed Bacon in Where the Truth Lies.

Though come to think of it, I also met Frankie Muniz at the junket for Racing Stripes (2005; my review) a couple years ago, and Bacon played Muniz’s dad in My Dog Skip (2000). I’m sure there are lots of other ways we could connect the dots, too.
