Here are the figures for the past weekend, arranged from those that owe the highest percentage of their take to the Canadian box office to those that owe the lowest.
Away from Her — CDN $400,019 — N.AM $1,326,458 — 30.2%
Hot Fuzz — CDN $2,720,000 — N.AM $21,125,512 — 12.9%
Fracture — CDN $4,400,000 — N.AM $34,530,840 — 12.7%
Georgia Rule — CDN $1,620,000 — N.AM $12,867,455 — 12.6%
Spider-Man 3 — CDN $27,830,000 — N.AM $282,379,655 — 9.9%
28 Weeks Later — CDN $1,820,000 — N.AM $18,914,924 — 9.6%
Blades of Glory — CDN $10,460,000 — N.AM $115,446,583 — 9.1%
Shrek the Third — CDN $9,800,000 — N.AM $122,536,609 — 8.0%
Disturbia — CDN $5,710,000 — N.AM $71,379,695 — 8.0%
A couple of discrepancies: The Canadian figure for Spider-Man 3 combines the regular release ($26,030,000), which came in at #2, with the IMAX release ($1,800,000), which came in at #6 — so I do not know what film would have been #10 in Canada if those figures had been combined. I believe the American figure for Spider-Man 3 has already combined the regular and IMAX revenues. Away from Her was #9 on the Canadian chart (it was #14 in North America as a whole), while Delta Farce and The Invisible were #7 and #8 on the North American chart, respectively.
