Can’t let a week go by without another Ben-Hur update!
Empire has an “exclusive new look” at the film’s chariot race, which primarily consists of a photo that gives primary attention to Toby Kebbell’s villainous Messala. It also has a couple new soundbites, like this one from director Timur Bekmambetov:
“Our technology is now far away from what they had previously . . . and the rigs we have are unbelievable. The goal for me is to shoot these action scenes so realistically that the audience feels that they’re in the chariot, driving.”
