The Associated Press reports that Helvetica — a popular typeface which, like the air we breathe, is so omnipresent that we barely notice it — is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

UPDATE: Whoops. It turns out that the font used in Good Night, and Good Luck was actually Akzidenz Grotesk. Ah well.
UPPERDATE: Whoops again. Check these overlays. Now it looks like Helvetica again, or perhaps a mixture of the two fonts.
