A Catholic, an Orthodox and a Protestant walk into a junket …

I just got home from the Los Angeles press junket for The Nativity Story, where I saw the film (for the third time in nine days!) and took part in interviews with the writer, director, producers, and a couple of the actors. Expect to see snippets of these interviews here over the next three weeks, followed by my review of the film itself, which will go up December 1, the day of the film’s release.

Arguably more important than the film or the interviews, though, is the fact that I finally met two of my colleagues and sparring partners in person for the first time. In the picture above, I’m the bearded, bespectacled man in the middle; the man on the left with a beard and no spectacles is Steven D. Greydanus of the Decent Films Guide; and the man on the right with spectacles and no beard is Mark Moring, our editor at Christianity Today Movies.

Loved meeting these guys. Look forward to doing so again.
