I just heard that Regent College will be offering a course on ‘The Movies and Ecclesiastes‘ in July, to be taught by Robert Johnston and Catherine Barsotti, who have already explored this subject in the book Useless Beauty: Ecclesiastes through the Lens of Contemporary Film. FWIW, I reviewed Johnston’s earlier book Reel Spirituality for the Imago newsletter (check page 4 of this PDF file) and interviewed him for BC Christian News in September 2002 (a rather truncated version of which appears here).
