Eight months after Last Days in the Desert premiered at Sundance, the film, which stars Ewan McGregor as both Jesus and Satan, has finally got a distributor.

Variety reports that Broad Green Pictures, which is handling such films as A Walk in the Woods and Terrence Malick’s Knight of Cups, has acquired Last Days in the Desert and plans to release it through “do-it-yourself distributor” Tugg.

The company is currently eyeing a release sometime next year — presumably after the Jesus films Risen (January 22), Ben-Hur (February 26) and The Young Messiah (March 11) have come and gone. Then again, you never know.
