Asthma is a late 20th century phenomenon that might have strong environmental factors. Although humans have always had some Asthma sufferers the late 20th century saw something rather an unusual. From 1980 to 1996 asthma prevalence increased roughly 74 percent in the United States. A new study published in The Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine says that environmental factors may have played a significant role and ought to be more fully explored.
