With TRUMP’s THREAT Of Riots “if I Lose” Trump Passes From Needy Sad Clown To A Traitor To Our Democracy And Peaceful Electoral Process

TODAY Trump warned that there would be widespread riots and by implication killings, if he does not “automatically” get the nomination as the candidate with the greatest number of delegates. With this not-so-veiled threat Trump passes from clown to a traitor to our democracy and peaceful electoral process.

No leader of a major political presidential party in America’s history has ever made such a threat before predicated on what would happen if he lost a nomination or election.

One other thing: Think of the implied insult to all of Trumps followers!

Trump is saying that they are an out of control bunch of thugs who will riot if they don’t like the way the election goes. Are they?

I don’t think most are. I have more faith in my fellow Americans. They may be angry but I doubt they will all rise up to riot, kill, lynch and loot.

What I don’t know is why they are following a man who speaks of them as if they too are out-of-control bully thugs like he is.

“I think you would have riots,” Trump said during an interview with CNN, adding that he represents “many, many millions of people,” including several first-time voters. Although he is leading the Republican primary race by a wide margin, casino mogul Donald Trump is still far from winning the 1,237 delegates needed to secure the party’s uncontested nomination.

“If you disenfranchise those people, and you say, ‘Well, I’m sorry, but you’re 100 votes short, even though the next one is 500 votes short,’ I think you would have problems like you’ve never seen before. I think bad things would happen,” Trump continued. “I wouldn’t lead it, but I think bad things would happen.”

When Trump says “I think you would have problems like you’ve never seen before,” he’s wrong. We the human race, HAVE seen all this before... in the rise of authoritarian dictatorships worldwide.

And what happens when Trump is thrashed in the general election— as he will be? Do his followers start to burn down cities, lynch blacks and Hispanics… shoot Muslims… what?

Now Trump is sending the signal to his “followers”: If I’m not the nominee I’m expecting millions of you to riot.

I won’t “lead you” (wink-wink) but maybe you’ll riot anyway, right?

With this vile anti-democracy threat Trump steps from the “like a fascist leader category” circa 1930, to an actual fascist thug on his way to setting the stage for revenge when he loses either at the convention or later nationally.

The threat is a threat of the unraveling of our democracy and the rule of law. And the threat is issued in the name of the heavily armed far right segment of the population that already reject government.

Journalists covering Trump’s campaign and people protesting at his rallies have been manhandled, punched, threatened and removed from events. Trump said he might pay the legal fees for a supporter who was charged with assault for punching an anti-Trump protester in the face.

As reported in the HuffingtonPost: “Even as he boasts about his wide lead in the presidential primary, Trump seems acutely aware that he is still in danger of not getting a majority of delegates. During last week’s debate, he called 1,237 an “artificial” and ‘very random number‘ and said whoever has the most delegates at the end of the primaries should be the nominee. (In fact, it is not random at all, as it is the majority of the 2,472 available delegates.)”

When the threat of violence against protesters at a campaign rally in Chicago forced Trump to cancel the event last week, he blamed the protesters and threatened to send his supporters to rallies for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) — which could be read as an implicit threat that his fans would harm Sanders’ supporters.

His threat: There will be riots if I lose! This is un-American. But it is not new, we’ve been here before. Guess who will suffer from the revenge mob when Trump loses? Blacks, Hispanics and anyone else not white and angry.
