Evangelical leader Jerry Falwell Jr. endorses Trump

Falwell said Yes once again to Trump as headlines pile up… “Groped In First Class… Kissed Receptionist On The Mouth… Grabbed Woman During A Photoshoot… ‘PEOPLE’ Mag Writer: He Attacked Me… FLASHBACK: ‘Grabbed’ Miss Washington’s ‘Ass’… but his students just issued a statement against Trump.

Their school’s president Jerry Falwell Jr., has defended Trump and dismissed his assault of women as just another conspiracy by the liberal media… As sexual pervert Trumpian headlines pile up Liberty U owns them.

Issued late Wednesday by “Liberty Students United Against Trump,” the students rebuked the candidate and Jerry Falwell Jr., for defending Trump after he made his comments about assaulting women (captured in a 2005 video.)

As reported by the Washington Post, their statement reads:

“We are Liberty students who are disappointed with President Falwell’s endorsement and are tired of being associated with one of the worst presidential candidates in American history. Donald Trump does not represent our values and we want nothing to do with him. . . He has made his name by maligning others and bragging about his sins. Not only is Donald Trump a bad candidate for president, he is actively promoting the very things that we as Christians ought to oppose.”

Asked on CNN about the latest accusations, Fallwell demurred at first. “I can’t answer a hypothetical question,” he told CNN’s Erin Burnett. “You’re saying if — if he murdered somebody, would I forgive him? That’s like asking something as ridiculous as that.”

But Burnett pressed, citing additional allegations against Trump from other women. “If what they say is true, does Jerry Falwell, Jr. vote for Donald Trump?”

“I’m going to vote for Donald Trump,” Falwell replied, “because I believe he’s the best qualified to be president of the United States.”

NOTE: I believe that this statement will be the Falwell family epitaph by the way… some things just will never go away… Falwell now owns every new story of sexual molestation and assault, that comes to light as Trump loses the election then lashes out later… The name Falwell and the words Sexual Assault will be linked forever…

Falwell cast doubt on the allegations of the women Trump assaulted: “It’s the heat of an election. It’s four weeks away from Election Day and everybody is in a frenzy. And so, we have to keep that in mind. The New York Times is very anti-Trump, and I believe the statement that was just released. They absolutely deny all the allegations.”

Liberty U students just could not stomach another day of being confused with Jerry Falwell Jr., condoning Trump’s multiple sexual assaults of women. They realize that their school’s president has just thrown them under the bus, that a degree from Liberty is now a degree from “That school that backed the sexual predator Trump…”

The Liberty University student manifesto comes a day after the University of Virginia college Republicans voted to rescind the group’s endorsement of his candidacy for president. The chairman of the college Republicans at Hampden-Sydney (my father Francis Schaeffer’s old school), Tanner Beck, posted a statement on Facebook noting that Trump “has gone from simply being an embarrassment to our party, to a potentially permanent stain on our brand and our country.”

The students at Liberty University wrote “Because our president has led the world to believe that Liberty University supports Donald Trump, we students must take it upon ourselves to make clear that Donald Trump is absolutely opposed to what we believe, and does not have our support,” the Liberty students wrote. “We are not proclaiming our opposition to Donald Trump out of bitterness, but out of a desire to regain the integrity of our school.”

“I am proud of these few students for speaking their minds but I’m afraid the statement is incoherent and false,” Falwell wrote reacting to his student’s timely rebuke.

One wonders if the students telling the truth on campus about the thug/woman-molesting sexual predator Trump and the nation’s Number One Sexual Predator-Trump Booster Falwell, are now in danger from the far right paranoid types on campus (including Jerry Falwell Jr.) carrying loaded weapons to class?
