I “get” why many Christians believe conspiracy theories and rumors about celebrities, even though they should always be skeptical about both.
What I don’t get at all is how so many Christians will accept an accusation against another believer or sister that they hear from a Facebook friend when they could easily to go the person being accused online and ask if the accusation is true or not.
Unfortunately, “fake news” reported by some disgruntled “Christians” who hate others abounds today.
It’s profoundly disturbing and a violation of Matthew 7:14 for any believer to simply accept such accusations without going to the accused directly if they are concerned.
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
