Wow! “The Good Wife” has thoughtful scene about Christians, gay wedding cakes, and Obama

The below scene is taken from The Good Wife, a popular CBS drama starring Julianna Margulies, and deals with freedom of religion.  As Andrew Wilson wrote, “I haven’t seen any character in a TV show point this out as pithily as Oliver Platt does here.”

The scene isn’t perfect.

Have you ever known any Christian who wanted to make a cake that read “God sends all gays to hell?”  The actual — more complete — Christian message to homosexuals is the same message to every other person in the world:  that people are more sinful than they know but God is more loving and forgiving than they can imagine.

Regardless, this was a great scene — hope to see many more like it!
