7. Paula Jones
Paula Jones’s sexual harassment suit against Clinton led to his impeachment and disbarment. According to former Arkansas state worker Paula Jones, Bill Clinton sexually harassed her the night before he announced his run for the presidency.
In that encounter, Jones says Clinton flashed her in a hotel room in Little Rock and demanded oral sex, which she declined. She later sued and won a cash payment of $850,000.
During this contentious litigation, how did the Clintons respond to this “sexual abuse survivor?” Did they — as Hillary said in a recent campaign ad — treat her as if she deserved to be heard? Hardly. Democratic surrogate James Carville implied Jones was just a trailer park prostitute.
Despite the settlement, Clinton denies any wrongdoing.
