Perhaps peak birthday greatness for most of us is a germ-free party at Chuck E. Cheese. But there was no animatronic mouse singing to pre-recorded tracks at this White House party. No, sir! Obama’s birthday party demanded nothing less than a private performance by legendary R&B artist Stevie Wonder.
It’s the least he could do after Obama presented him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom a few years back. Obama is a big fan, too, calling Stevie’s first five albums, “Those are as brilliant a set of five albums as we’ve ever seen.”
