Nothing is more shameful than the way our nation has treated our veterans.  When it was revealed that veterans died while waiting for care — and that there was a secret list of veterans that the government kept in order to provide substandard care — America was outraged.  However, when Obama made the above statement, “only one senior executive had been removed for a case involving wait time (though the actual firing was for an ethics violation).”
