I have some questions that I’d love to ask any of you out there that may have wisdom to share. I’m a sponge ladies. I’m ready to soak it up. 🙂
I do apologize if you clicked over here today to read something insightful, funny, or not related to babies. I’ll do my best to get something else up tomorrow! For now, please enjoy this:
The Opera Company of Philadelphia hidden out as shoppers at Macy’s, breaking out into the Hallelujah Chorus of Handel’s Messiah flash-mob style!
Now, on with the show. Because obviously my parenting questions are more important than Handel.
- How did you find your pediatrician/family doctor? Did you meet him/her before the baby’s birth?
- Is the MOBY wrap as incredibly difficult as it looks when I take it out and it’s in a pile on the nursery floor? How did you get into a rhythm with it?
- If you have a breast pump, at what point did you buy it? Did you wait until the baby was born to see if you needed it? Or buy one ahead of time?
- How many crib sheets and receiving blankets do I really need?
- What was the most comforting/helpful/essential thing you had with you during labor?
- What are/were your coping strategies for sleep deprivation?
- Do I need both a bouncer and a swing? Are either of these safe to borrow/buy used?
- What are the best nursing products you’ve used? Specifically, which brand of bra have you used/liked?
- What is something you wished you had at the hospital/birthing center during labor and delivery? What is something you brought that was useless?
I really do appreciate any advice or stories you might have to share! And how awesome is that video? “A Random Act of Culture” — I love it!
