Oh friends. I’ve been so neglectful. I had the best of intentions, and a blog post 3/4 completed when disaster struck. Two days before Thanksgiving I was struck with an intestinal bug. Yuck, yuck gross. Thankfully it only lasted a little over a day, but it was long enough to preclude blogging, as I rushed around to get us ready for the trip to Atticus’ parents. Oh boo.

But Thanksgiving was fun, delicious, and mostly relaxing.

In other news, I got to have a very exciting blogger meetup the Sunday before Thanksgiving. That’s right, Rebecca from The Road Home came to our house for brunch before her trip back to West Virginia.

Maggie really enjoyed meeting her, as did we all!

Yay for blogger meetups!

Oh, and we got to see The Muppets over the weekend too. It was wonderful. Truly, truly excellent movie. I can’t wait to get it when it comes out on DVD.
