We’re heading out this afternoon with the free-range turkey in tow, along with the enormous bowl of cranberry sauce (ask me for the recipe!) that I made yesterday!
We’re lucky; no flying (something I’m eternally grateful for this year!), and only an hour and a half to drive.
Tomorrow I’ll watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade at my in-laws house, as I did at my own family’s house every year growing up.
We’ll eat, we’ll laugh, hopefully nothing will get burned by me, and at some point we’ll watch some football, take a walk, and maybe play a game.
I’m very grateful to have family to be with on Thanksgiving. I’m grateful for the gift of life; my own, my baby’s and everyone’s. I’m grateful for God’s love. And of course, I’m grateful for all of you.
I hope you all have a blessed and very Happy Thanksgiving!
