Initiative #2: Transformative Leaders Training

CANA(Convening, Advocating, Networking, and Acting) has a group of four major initiatives to spearhead in the next year. These first four areas can be viewed as a bit of the origin story of CANA over the last nine months, but were clearly defined by participants at the CANA kick off meeting in November 2013 at the Washington Cathedral. Goals

• Connect with and inspire new generation of leaders
• Generate a collaborative environment for shared participation among leaders
• Facilitate ongoing training and equipping for a new generation of transformative leaders
• Connect with and inspire new generation of leaders
• Generate a collaborative environment for shared participation among leaders
• Life-long learning program based on “Just in time” learning model as additive to a supplement for seminary education
• Establish learning centers across North America
• Offer new systems for connection amongst leaders and thinkers
