I think Darwinism is being exalted now precisely to counter the rise of creationism and the scientific threat of intelligent design. What would the traditional Darwin Day family dinner have on the menu? Or would the sentiments of Darwin Day intrinsically squelch the sort of happiness that goes with Christian holy-days?
