Where we are already, after the Supreme Court’s gay marriage ruling: A Harrisburg, PA, newspaper has announced that since the gay marriage issue is now “settled,” it will not print op-ed pieces or letters to the editor that oppose gay marriage or say that homosexual acts are immoral or unnatural. We won’t print racist, sexist, or anti-semitic letters, the editor explained. “To that we add homophobic ones.”

The editorial board of PennLive/The Patriot-News in Harrisburg, Pa. is taking a hardcore stance against those who disagree with the Supreme Court ruling to legalize gay marriage.
“As a result of Friday’s ruling, PennLive/The Patriot-News will no longer accept, nor will it print, op-Eds and letters to the editor in opposition to same-sex marriage,” they declared.
