Five NBA teams in Europe?

In another step towards a one-world government, NBC commissioner David Stern is wanting to expand the basketball franchise to London by 2012. More than that, he hopes to establish 5 NBA teams in Europe over the next 10 years.

OK, I’m exaggerating the one-world government threat, but only a little. Before the world’s nations could all come together into a single political organism, they would all need to share the same culture. This is happening. And the culture that is taking over the world and driving out all nations’ traditional values and identities is the pop culture, with all of its celebrity-worship, commercialism, and mindlessness. When all traditional cultures disappear, the world will rally around a celebrity it wants to follow and forming an actual government will just be an afterthought.
