Following a controversy within the Democratic Party over the Democratic National Committee’s support of pro-life Omaha, Nebraska, mayoral candidate Heath Mello last week, DNC head Tom Perez declared Friday that henceforth, the DNC will only provide support to pro-choice candidates.
“That is not negotiable,” he said, “and should not change city by city or state by state.”
