The Museum of the Bible is hosting a women’s luncheon and fashion show featuring biblically inspired couture and designs on Tuesday, September 17.

Limited tickets are available for purchase.

The nearly sold-out fundraising event is the first of its kind in the nation’s Capitol, and culminates by debuting an exclusive, one-of-a-kind couture gown by Chiara Boni, which will be donated to the Museum of the Bible Collection.

The fashion show will showcase pieces from the Museum of the Bible’s couture collection, which include items designed by the fashion houses of Versace, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier and Dolce & Gabbana. The collection also includes other donated and purchased items.

Style Bible author and established D.C. fashion expert Lauren Rothman has organized the show.

A permanent exhibit focused on the Bible’s impact on fashion is located on the museum’s Impact Floor as part of a larger exhibit exploring the Bible’s impact on the world.

On September 17, doors open at 11:30 a.m. with a silent auction followed by a luncheon.

The fashion show is scheduled from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gathering Room on the museum’s sixth floor.

Limited tickets are available for purchase.
