There are historical, philosophical, pneumatological, and all types of logical approaches to Theology. Then there are various forms of Biblical interpretation, some influences are languages, historical contexts, hermeneutics (whether linguistic or social scientific), etc.
Whether a handful of people feel right or wrong, the collective reading of the Word often serves as a corrective if needed . . .

I don’t make pitches for anything very often, but if you’re one of my readers, I would like to offer an invitation into where I’m at today (03.28.22) but reading the Word is evergreen.

It’s quite easy to find Bible reading plans at this point in time. I started at about eleven reading topically. Later, I worked my way into reading programs that cover the entire Word, because it is good to keep from going to the Word only for personal needs.
Plus I began to discover there is far more to the whole counsel of God through His holy writ.
I seldom aim to read the Bible through in less than 1 1/2 years. In recent years, I have tried to begin at Advent.
At times I would slow down and focus on just the four Gospels for a year, or so.
I have also read the Four Gospels in line with other NT Books:
- Matthew and Hebrews (which flow very nicely together)
- Mark with 1 Peter and 2 Peter (because Mark most likely interviewed Peter for his Gospel)
- Luke | Acts and Paul’s Epistles
- John is known to have written all of his own works
- The 2 General Epistles left could be written by 1/2 brothers of our Lord
