Scripture Shared at Church

We change into the likeness of the one that captivates our souls!

Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
no shadow of shame will darken their faces. Psalm 34.5, NLT

Blessed are those who don’t feel guilty for doing something they have decided is right. Romans 14.22b

Opinion: I believe there’s a lot of masking guilt going on out there because you either have a clear conscience before God…
or you don’t.

Jars of Clay: Safe to Land

Here’s the fact: the battle for your life is fought and won in your mind. God wants you to take control of your mind, at the name of Jesus…

…through the power of the Holy Spirit. You can think your way into changing your life for good!

Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Romans 8.5-6

Don’t overthink it. After all He’s not called the Holy Brain. It’s more about learning to surrender your mind to the Holy Spirit.

We’re individually graced by God’s creative design. It’s more natural to surrender to the Spirit than it is to fight against Him in the flesh. He has intimately and intricately made us, so we find our delight in knowing Him.

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it.
Psalm 139.13-14
