Shooting Journalists in a Barrel

Yahoo! Sports seriously poses the following question:

“[W]hy is the U.S. so dominant in the sport over the last several years?”

The sport is skeet shooting. Anybody want to speculate why Americans would dominate an Olympic sport that involves guns?

I did particularly like this bit from the article:

“To prepare for the London Games, [gold medalist Kimberly] Rhode traveled up and down the West Coast to find shooting ranges that mimicked the weather conditions in the U.K. — including shooting in the rain in Oregon.”
