Cray-Cray Is As Cray-Cray Blogs On The Inter-Webs: A Christian Response (Jersey-style) to Jennifer Mayers

Cray-Cray Is As Cray-Cray Blogs On The Inter-Webs: A Christian Response (Jersey-style) to Jennifer Mayers July 2, 2016

Have you ever been, say, walking through the park with a friend, when all of a sudden, a kid leading a T-Rex on a leash walks by? And your friend turns to you and says, “These things only happen when you’re around?”

That happened to me a few months ago.

Okay, it was a guy wearing a dinosaur suit, but still. You get the idea.

And that whole experience is sort of what it’s like to read the blog called An Elegant Life by Jennifer, written by one Jennifer Mayer. You sort of look at it and say to yourself, This can’t possibly be real. It’s too….stupid. Crazy. Ridiculous. But I see it….I see it…Oh, God. I see it….

So Jennifer is a racist, misogynistic “Christian” blogger who recently posted a piece that, according to her, has gone viral on Facebook and gotten over 93,000 views. Unfortunately, the piece was about Christy Sheats, the Texas woman who recently made headlines when she shot her two adult daughters, then was killed by police.

Christy Sheats was obviously mentally ill, having a history of depression, being medicated, and stays in psychiatric wards. But that didn’t stop Elegant Jennifer from making a whole lot of racist assumptions about what was “left usaid” by the media. Because Elegant Jennifer is sure that the two young girls killed by the so-called “Christian Martyr” were not just promiscuous but were in relationships with — gasp! — Black people. OMG.

That’s the post that put her on the map, but wait! There’s more….God help us all…there’s more.
