My tulips got me thinking about Easter.

But when the blend of soil, light, water, and heat peaks perfectly, green stalks begin their ascent to the sun. New life emerges, followed soon after by the colorful, delicate, patterned petals that delight every eye. In the darkness no longer, they shimmer and refract the light of the sun they reach out to touch. So, too, did the risen Lord emerge from his tomb on the third day, unwrapped from his grave clothes, shining the glory always living inside him. So we too can be like the tulip . .
