“Release the Epstein Files”
President Donald Trump campaigned for the presidency in 2024 saying that if elected, he would uncover more of Deep State by making public the so-called “Epstein Files.” This refers to sex trafficker of underage girls Jeffrey Epstein, an apparently close friend of Donald Trump for 15 years, from late 1980s to 2004. Trump’s MAGA base loved that Trump made this declaration numerous times.
Pam Bondi, President Trump’s Attorney General, said publicly only weeks after Trump was inaugurated as president this year that the Epstein Files were on her desk for her review, suggesting that she would soon release them to the public. Then it was reported by the Wall Street Journal that several weeks ago she told President Trump his name was repeatedly in those files. When Trump subsequently was asked about this by the media, he denied she said that to him.
Then the FBI and Department of Justice recently authored and publicly produced a memo saying the so-called Epstein Files need no further investigation or release and that Epstein had committed suicide in prison awaiting trial in 2019, which is what the coroner had reported.
Mark Epstein Says His Brother Had Serious “Dirt” on Trump
But Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, said two of the pathologists involved in doing the autopsy on Epstein told Mark that his brother’s death looked more like a murder than a suicide. And he has been saying that he does not believe his brother committed suicide. Also, Mark Epstein now says that back in 2016, when the campaign for the presidency was being conducted between Democrat Hilary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump, Jeffrey told Mark that Jeffrey had “dirt” on both candidates and that if it was known publicly, they would have to “cancel the election.” Mark says his brother Jeffrey did not tell him what that “dirt” was.
When President Trump was on vacation last week in Scotland, the media asked him if he might pardon Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplice in crime and girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell. She is now serving a twenty-year prison sentence for sex trafficking of young girls. Maxwell is asking President Trump to grant her a pardon. She also is suing claiming an unfair trial.
Trump Didn’t Say He Wouldn’t Pardon Maxwell
Trump answered the question by saying he had not thought about it. Yeah, sure! He also said that he has the right to pardon her. That is true. And last week before Trump departed for Scotland, Assistant Attorney General Blanche, a former Trump lawyer whom Trump selected for this position, did two days of private questioning of Ms. Maxwell in prison about the Epstein Files and likely other related matters. But Blanche did not make anything known publicly about this investigation.
Also, for many days before Blanche questioned Maxwell, President Trump has spoken publicly with irritation about the growing demand of his own MAGA base to release the Epstein Files which he had been promising his base for years. He basically told the public, and thus his MAGA supporters, to fawgettaboutit, as New Yorkers talk. He also said, surprisingly, that if they didn’t then he didn’t need their support. IMO, that sure calls for the charge of a coverup. If so, the Epstein Files, which he promised to release, are coming back to bite Trump in the you-know-where.
Will Trump Pardon Maxwell? If so, He’s History!
It appears to a lot of people, including me, that Maxwell has “dirt” on Trump, likely some of the same dirt Jeffrey Epstein told his brother Mark that he had on Trump. That is why I think Trump sent Blanche to question Maxwell. If true, then Maxwell has leverage on Trump, and because of it they must have discussed a possible deal. What would it be? Late night comedian Jon Stewart just said it would be that Trump will pardon Maxwell if she declares publicly that Trump is innocent of any wrongdoing in relation to Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes with girls.
Speaker Johnson Seems Committed to No Pardon
However, President Trump has been depending very much politically on Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson. Just days ago, NBC’s Kristen Welker on “Meet the Press” asked Johnson his opinion if Trump pardons Maxwell. He said of her sentence, “I think 20 years was a pittance. I think she should have a life sentence at least. I mean, think of all these unspeakable crimes, and as you noted earlier, probably 1,000 victims.”
Johnson, a professing Christian from Louisiana, continued, “It’s hard to put into words how evil this was, and that she orchestrated it and was big part of it, at least under the criminal sanction I think is an unforgivable thing.” He added concerning the Epstein Files, “We are for maximum disclosure. We want all transparency.”
However, many Republicans were angry at Johnson when he did an early termination of Congress for summer vacation. He could have pursued further questioning of this matter, which many voters wanted. Instead, Johnson’s action makes it look like he was trying to avoid disclosure of the Epstein Files. Actions speak louder than words, Mr. Speaker.
Trump May Lose His Teflon Don Reputation
But now, with this past scenario, I think President Donald Trump—Teflon Don who has escaped so many scandals that would have destroyed any other American politician—is between a rock and a hard place, with his Teflon Don image at stake. If Trump pardon’s Maxwell to keep her from squawking about him, Johnson will be forced to back up his words and his Christian profession. He therefore could lower the boom on Trump, calling for a government investigation of this matter.
That would be tough, since Trump has put in place some corrupt people who do his bidding. But if Johnson did this, it could cause an avalanche of MAGA departure from Donald Trump, especially all of those calling for release of the Epstein Files. They would be yelling “coverup.”
Trump Could Get Impeached and Evicted
That would surely result in the Republicans losing perhaps both the Senate and the House majorities in the mid-term election next year. If that happens, the Democrats will call for a third impeachment of President Trump. This time they likely would win in both chambers, thus including the Senate where they didn’t win before. That would prove the end of Donald Trump’s presidency. He would become the first U.S. president to ever be scandalously evicted from the White House. If that happened, it would certainly prove my book even more true, that the Bible Predicts Trump Fall.
But I must add this caveat, that I subscribe to the position of God Almighty—”The Lord is … not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). But even repentance does not always thwart both God’s judgment and human judgment.
