Abraham Ancer won the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational today in a three-way playoff with Sam Burns and Hideki Matsuyama for his first win on the PGA Tour. I sunk a six-foot birdie putt on the second extra hole, the par four 18th hole at the TPC Southland golf course in Memphis, Tennessee. After Ancer calmly rolled his birdie putt in the hole, Sam Burns then putted from six inches closer and on the same line. But his ball curved around much of the lip of the hole and stayed out.

This win put Ancer way up into 7th position in Fed Ex standings and probably in the top ten in World Golf Rankings. So, the handsome and diminutive Ancer, who stands at five-feet seven and 155 pounds, is making himself known in the top pro ranks largely for his shot-making accuracy and excellent putting. Those are two pretty good stats to have in playing the greatest game on grass.
