When you take off your ring and what you do with it is deeply personal. Others may push you one way or another, and it might be wise to consider and evaluate their opinions. However, this is ultimately your decision. Think carefully about it. Pray about it. If you feel confused, talk to a priest. Ask our Heavenly Father to guide you. Taking off your wedding ring may feel liberating or may bring great grief. Either way is okay, you’re okay. God loves you and holds you in the palm of his hand, with or without that ring on your finger.
