3. Focus On Someone Who Is In Need
When bad things happen to us, it is easy to allow ourselves to be consumed by the negativity. When you shift your focus away from your challenges and onto others and their needs, you gain a better, more rounded perspective. Helping others in need not only makes us feel better and makes the world a better place, it helps us understand that you are not the only one suffering—that there are other people suffering badly too. Consider doing random acts of kindness for someone you know who is in need, or volunteer to do charity work at your church. Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can have the biggest impact on restoring your sense of hope.
