Doctor Who Open Thread!

I have received word that some of you would like space to discuss Doctor Who (which by the way is one of my favorite TV shows). Goodness knows we need a break from the serious, so here you go! A Doctor Who open thread!

Let me start you out with the two teaser trailers released so far:

And there you have it! More Daleks, more adventures, and a new companion!

As you likely know, Season 10 doesn’t air until 2017 (well, technically, there will be a Christmas special broadcast in December 2016). Despite the unfortunate gap, we do have a new companion—Pearl Mackie—to look forward to meeting!

So. Favorite companion, anyone? I’m torn between Martha and Donna, with Clara as a close third. And then there’s Rory. How about favorite episodes? I will always have a soft spot for The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances. Are you my mummy?
