This weekend, some grad students at Yale University conducted what they described as a “hunger strike” for better union benefits.
“Yale wants to make us wait and wait and wait … until we give up and go away,” the eight members of the graduate student union Local 33 announced. “We have committed ourselves to waiting without eating.”
The Yale College Republicans were epic in their response to the poor, hungry libs. When the “hunger strike” began, the College Republicans struck a match, lit the charcoal, and began grilling out… just feet from the hunger strikers, who were trying to get other students to join them in their crusade. The College Republicans served beef, corn, and baked beans to students milling around in the plaza…. and I’m thinking they probably had more takers on their burgers than the liberals had on their food strike.

Interestingly, the “hunger strike” was a little less than stringent:
So instead of “trolling,” maybe the College Republicans were just providing an easy way for the strikers to take a break.
