LGBTQ Activists Try to Out-PC Each Other

LGBTQ Activists Try to Out-PC Each Other

If you were a gay or trans person, wouldn’t you be happy to see corporations bending over backward to support you?  Especially if they were willing to put their money where their mouths were and actually sponsor your gay pride events?  Apparently, according to the fact that one gay pride group blocked another gay pride group’s parade, not all gay and trans people feel this way.   Truth Revolt has the details:

“Capital Pride has consistently demonstrated that it is more interested in accommodating the interests of Metropolitan police and of corporate sponsors than it is in supporting the very communities it supposedly represents,” according to #NoJusticeNoPride.  “Because of the current political climate and in response to years of being dismissed and ignored by Capital Pride, members of Washington, DC’s queer and trans community took direct action on Saturday, June 10, blocking the Capital Pride parade.” The #NoJusticeNoPride folks didn’t want to have to see uniforms there, or evil capitalists who “profit from pipelines and war.”  Why?  Well, if the answer isn’t obvious to you, then you might just be transphobic…  but I’ll spell it out for you anyway.

“We deserve to celebrate Pride without being forced alongside the Police who kill us,” says Angela Peoples. (What do you mean you haven’t ready about the cop-on-gay-people murders?  You just aren’t reading the right periodicals.)  Instead of being happy that they’d secured corporate sponsors to put on the parade, the #NoJusticeNoPride folks don’t want anything to do with their dirty money.

Here’s what one trans/gay group blocking another looks like:

Here’s the bottom line:  liberals just can’t stop “virtue signaling” how PC they are… even to the point of literally blocking other like-minded people from showcasing their pride.  It’s sort of funny to see liberals turn on each other.
