Update: CBS Fires Exec Who Had No Sympathy For Murdered Las Vegas Country Music Fans Who Might’ve Been ‘Repugs’ 2017-10-04T09:22:39-06:00

UPDATE:

Well, this rarely happens.  CBS fired one of their top executives, Hayley Geftman-Gold, after her below post.  The company released a statement which read:

“This individual, who was with us for approximately one year, violated the standards of our company and is no longer an employee of CBS. Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS. Our hearts go out to the victims in Las Vegas and their families.”

Kudos to CBS!

ORIGINAL PIECE:

Well, this is classy.  Last night a gunman in Las Vegas opened fire into a crowd of concert goers, killing more than fifty people and injuring more than 400 others.  However, a top CBS executive, Hayley Geftman-Gold, posted on Facebook that she “is not even sympathetic” for the victims since “country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”  She also said she has no hope that “the Repugs” will do the right thing.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” she wrote.  This probably referred to Sandy Hook.  Here’s the CBS exec’s Facebook page:

Here’s the actual conversation that was deleted but not by Geftman-Gold:

As the Daily Caller reported, this is not the first time that CBS has shown its bigotry against Republicans: “Shortly after the attack on the GOP congressional baseball team gravely injuring Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise in June, former CBS anchor Scott Pelley questioned whether the shooting was ‘foreseeable, predictable and to some degree, self-inflicted.'”

I, for one, am sick and tired of liberals getting to do and say whatever they want whenever they want.  There are no standards for liberals, but conservatives are called out and fired for the slightest offense.  The growing chasm between left and right is growing in this nation.  If we can’t even come together in times of tragedy, united as Americans, when can we come together?

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that there’s a rude, arrogant, condescending person full of hate who works at CBS.

Here’s the real question. What will CBS do in response to this hate?  America is waiting.  But most conservatives aren’t holding their breath.
