This invitation might be the best one I’ve ever seen.
“Come express your anger at the current state of democracy, and scream helplessly at the sky!” distraught liberals said asking the public to a temper tantrum over the election of Donald Trump.
Not surprisingly, people actually responded. PJ Media reports:
Thousands of anguished libs in Boston and Philadelphia will be taking part in scream fests on Nov. 8 to commemorate the anniversary of Donald Trump’s election. Liberals in other cities around the country are likely to step up to the crazy plate as well as the big day draws near.
Over 4,000 Facebook users in the Boston area have RSVP’d to attend the event they’re calling “Scream helplessly at the sky on the anniversary of the election.” Another 33,000 have expressed interest in attending the event at the 383-year-old Boston Common.
I so want to go to one of these events, but I’m afraid I might hurt myself laughing. Maybe if we went with a group, we could have a couple of drinks first to prepare ourselves for the hilarity. Perhaps we should bring lawn chairs and a cooler full of beer and snacks and iPhones to record video of the event.
It would certainly better than any stand-up comedy club.
A famous liberal — Barack Obama — once sent a message to Republicans upset over his victory. As he so kindly put it: “I won. Deal with it.”
And guess what? Republicans dealt with it. Not one of them threw a public pity party. Instead, people rallied together and voted for a change. I guess “dealing with it” looks different for different people… Conservatives go to the polls. Liberals whine, cry, and shout.
Yeah, that’s about right.
