Eminem, New Liberal Spokesperson, Drove Ex-Wife to Attempt Suicide

Marshall Mathews — also known as Eminem — is a misogynist, violent, foul-mouthed rapper.  And now, he’s an icon of the liberal left. As JWF noted, “Hollywood and the NFL have driven away Americans in droves, so any Trump fans dumb enough to listen to this clown are on notice. We wonder, though, why does the left embrace such cretins?”

Of course, the main reason the left is salivating over this guy is because he went on BET and performed an anti-Trump rant with silent black people standing behind him in a parking garage.  (What?  They can’t have a voice?) In the rant, he criticized the President for his comments on John McCain’s military service, his criticism of the NFL, and a host of other issues.

You can see that liberal “stars” like Colin Kaepernick were quick to approve:

However, check out just some of the rapper’s poor behavior.  He and his wife have a notoriously tumultuous relationship:

Though having a child put a strain on their relationship, they tied the knot in 1999, but divorced two years later, in part because of an onstage incident in 2000. Not only did the singer record a song in which he describes killing her and burying the body, but he also assaulted a blow-up doll during one of his concerts, which served as a stand-in for Kim. She attempted suicide shortly after.

Oh, and there’s this:

Chart-busting Grammy winner Eminem was charged with two felony counts in Warren, Mich., on Tuesday stemming from a Sunday morning skirmish in the parking lot of the Hotel Rock Cafe in suburban Detroit. “The first is assault with a dangerous weapon,” said prosecutor Carl Marlinga. The 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, allegedly assaulted John Guerra over the head with a 9mm Smith & Wesson gun (that was not loaded) “without the intent of committing the crime of murder,” according to the prosecutor. Eminem/Mathers reportedly saw Guerra kiss his wife, Kimberly Mathers. She later told the Detroit Free Press that her husband “overreacted” to a friendly kiss between friends. The charge could bring Eminem a sentence ranging anywhere from probation to 17 months behind bars. He is also accused of carrying a concealed weapon (which carries a sentence from probation to a year in prison).

When you see stuff like this, you have to ask, what did the left learn from the last election.  Are they trying to make a second Trump term inevitable?  Of course, that’s not their intent, but they are alienating the very voters they need to win to take back the White House and Congress.

I hope the left continues to embrace a convicted criminal who pretended on stage to kill his wife, while rapping about doing it.  He’s probably still not as bad as their paterfamilias, Bill Clinton.

Liberal heroes… I dunno.
