Do you ever regret you can’t afford to send your very bright child to Harvard?  If so, I’m about to save you about $63,000 per year.  Recently, Harvard had a workshop to teach students about the joys of anal sex.  One of the presenters denounced “the stupidity of abstinence” and extolled the euphoria of “putting things in your butt.”  The College Fix has the disgusting details:

The workshop was held as part of the Ivy League university’s Sex Week, which launched Monday and runs through Nov. 12. Titled “What What in the Butt: Anal 101,” the event drew nearly 50 students.

At one point the presenter leading the workshop passed out gloves and butt plugs to students as she offered instructions on anal relaxation techniques.

“Remember it’s all about practice, practice, practice,” said the presenter, Natasha, a representative of the Cambridge-based adult shop Good Vibrations.

The event was designed to promote “sexual positivity,” which is supposed to “encourage people to go after their desires and not feel shame.”  In today’s horrible culture, however, the news cycles easily show the fallacy in that way of thinking. In a Harvey Weinstein world, is “go after your desires and not feel shame” really the message we really want to send?

Here’s more from the College Fix reporter who sat through this seminar:

Noting “not all men have penises, not all women have vaginas,” she added “the butthole is the great sexual equalizer. All humans have a butthole.”

A slide shown during the event listed other perks: “because it feels good,” “tantalizing taboo” and “increases truth/intimacy.”

Got that?  I wonder if they discussed the medical problems associated with this practice?  For one, doing this might — as one WebMD video pointed out — make it hard to “keep your poop in.”  Here are the details that the Harvard seminar may not have mentioned:

The anus was designed to hold in feces. The anus is surrounded with a ring like muscle, called the anal sphincter, which tightens after we defecate. When the muscle is tight, anal penetration can be painful and difficult. Repetitive anal sex may lead to weakening of the anal sphincter, making it difficult to hold in feces until you can get to the toilet.

It is a travesty that Harvard gets away with teaching students any type of sexual practice. It’s even worse they’re teaching students sexual lessons that could ruin their lives or end their lives.
