I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…If you’re sending your kids to a liberal-dominated college (oh-but-I-repeat-myself in the case of most universities), you’re committing parental malpractice and damaging our country. Here’s the latest example of political correctness run amok. Recently, college administrators at George Mason University have laid down the law… against normal phrases we all use every day. For example, do you ever meet a new friend and — horror of all horrors — ask for their last name? Well, you can’t do that at George Mason. Not anymore.
The Daily Caller News Foundation reports on all of the things you better not be caught saying:
George Mason University advised graduate teaching assistants (TAs) during a mandatory training Tuesday not to use words or phrases including “freshman,” “last name,” and “it is easy to imagine.”
The school made these suggestions in a tips and strategies guide entitled “Creating Inclusive Classrooms” obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation. The guide also advised graduate TAs to include a diversity statement in their syllabi and ask students for their name and pronoun.
They said “Humankind” and “first-year student” should be used instead of the male-oriented words freshman and mankind. Also, the syllabi should be written in non-offensive language to make sure that all sorts of mentally imbalanced people can stay that way. (Okay, so that’s my paraphrase. Read the memo here.)
Parents, let this be a reminder if you are thinking of sending you kids to these types of colleges.
Don’t do it. Just don’t do it. You will regret it for the rest of your life. You will not recognize them when they return, and often you will find that they can no longer think, speak or act rationally. Most of these colleges are just incubators for the mind-controlling fascism of the New Democratic Fascists. Don’t believe me? Read this incredibly condescending article in the Washington Post about a young country girl who was liberated from her way-too-traditional parents.
It’s time to stop rewarding these colleges with tuition money. Eventually, common sense must have a vote.
