A group of Christians in Seattle had been walking around handing our pamphlets about the Bible, sin, and abortion. They decided to take a coffee break at a place called Bedlam Coffee. While ordering, apparently, one of the Christians mentioned to the barista what they’d been doing. The gay coffee shop owner was not happy. In fact, he went on a rant against the group, and then told them to get out in emotional, vile language.
“I’m gay, you have to leave,” he said. “This is offensive to me. I own the place. I have the right to be offended.”
The group attempted to tell the owner that they hadn’t left any of their pamphlets in his shop, but the owner wasn’t hearing any of it.
Repeatedly telling them to “shut up,” the owner said, “There’s nothing you can say. This is you and I don’t want these people in this place.”
The Christians pressed the owner as to why he is so opposed to their presence in the shop, and that’s when things got extraordinarily vulgar.
“Can you tolerate my presence? Really?” the owner asked. “If I go get my boyfriend and f**k him in the a** right here you’re going to tolerate that? Are you going to tolerate it?”
Becoming increasingly agitated, the owner yelled, “Answer my f***ing question! No, you’re going to sit right here and f***ing watch it! Leave, all of you! Tell all your f**king friends don’t come here!”
As the group begins collecting their belongings to leave, one of the women in the group addresses the owner directly and tells him, “Just know that Christ can save you from that lifestyle.”
“Yeah, I like a**,” the owner spat. “I’m not going to be saved by anything. I’d f**k Christ in the a**. Okay? He’s hot.”
You really have to see the video to appreciate the way they were treated. Warning: the coffee owner uses foul, blasphemous language.
Here’s the thing. Do you remember when liberals used to say “get the government out of my bedroom?” Now their position is “you have to watch me and my gay boyfriend f—ing in the ass or else you aren’t tolerant?”
Also, remember that Washington state is the battle ground for man religious liberty cases right now. Recently, the Supreme Court punished 72 year old Barronelle Stutzman even though she served everyone in her community, regardless of their race, sex, religion, or sexual orientation. That was because she said she couldn’t custom make floral arrangements for her customer Rob Ingersoll’s wedding since he was marrying a man – this violated her religious convictions.
But the State of Washington and now the State’s highest court have declared illegal for her not to make those flowers. (Even though she’s made dozens of floral arrangements for Rob.) Plus, Barronelle has to pay the ACLU attorney fees which were hundreds of thousands of dollars.
It’s a horrible day in America when Barronelle is fined, punished, mocked, harassed, and threatened while this coffee owner gets accolades.
