Progress Report

O Happy Day! Yesterday I finished the draft of the book. What this means in English is that all the heavy lifting is now done. The first six chapters have already been reviewed by my trusty team of editors. I have yet to do edits on Chapter 7 (I hope to start today) and I still need to have the edits done for 8-14. But the manuscript is now basically written (sans Bibliography, Index, Foreword, and various frontispiece materials). So we’re getting there.

My publisher (Matt Pinto at Ascension Press) tells me he can probably have it out by January 2006. That’s not in granite, but I mention it since Mary and (ahem!) Christmas go together like, well, Mary and Christmas.

My tentative title is Mary Potter and the Purpose-Driven Code. I anticipate sales in the millions.

Yes. That was a joke.

Anyhow, back to the salt mines. But I wanted to *tell* somebody!
