Speaking of Dawn…

She writes:

I’m making plans with Father Phil Bloom to visit Seattle again over the summer. Will let you know the details when they transpire; would love to catch up with you and your family again.

Sounds fun! I’ll take you to the places we didn’t get to see last time, though after the pilgrimage to Starbuck’s Prime there in Pike Place, everything is bound to be a let down.

Speaking of Father Bloom, last Sunday my pastor in Washington, D.C., Monsignor Filardi, quoted his homily. Then I watched a video of another favorite pastor’s homily for the same day–Father Joseph Tito of Baltic Connecticut–and _he_ quoted Father Bloom. Methinks we have a true cult figure in our midst! More here.

Fr. Phil Bloom is a terrific priest. We are blessed to have him out here. Seattleites who aren’t familiar with his priesly awesomeness and mojo are encourage to go to Mass at Holy Family in West Seattle and meet the great man his own self.
